Towballs & Accessories (items attached to your vehicle)
Towballs, jaws and pin & ball brackets fix to a mounting plate on the tow bar. Towballs are for use with 50mm couplings, whereas jaws are for use with eye couplings. Pin & ball combinations can be used with both. A number of designs of towball are available, swan neck, flange bolt on, or detachable tow bar systems. It is also very important to fit an Alko type towball if you have an Alko coupling on your caravan as they give sufficient clearance between the center of the ball and the base of the neck. To ensure correct function the Alko towball should have any paint or protective coating removed right back to the metal.

Mounting Accessories: Drop Plates or Adjustable Height Couplings allow the position of the towball to be lowered so that a caravan or trailer will sit level when towing. Spacer Plates are used when there is more than one application attached to the tow bar, i.e. using a tow step and towball, it allows the products to be adequately spaced so that both can be used. Bumper Protector Plates prevent damage to the vehicles bumper which can sometime happen during hitching, available in stainless steel or black. We also have breakaway cables, and various towball covers.
